Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal had stopped the recruitment process of computer teacher recruitment. From the last two days the court had already stopped the result process of PGT IP interviews.
Tribunal Chairman, VK Sharma announced yesterday about the recruitment and asked the state govt to clarify within three weeks. According to news the hearing will be on 10th Oct. The govt told the court that the recuitment process is going according to rules.
The state high court also ordered to find out the possibility of making a policy for the recruitment of computer teachers. The Tribunal expressed dissatisfaction over the government's response and ordered recruitment. Ravinder Kumar, who filed the petition, pleaded with the Tribunal to cancel the recruitment process of computer teachers.
In the petition, the petitioner has said that recruitment rules of computer teachers are being done bypassing. In the recruitment of teachers only the basis of interview has been made, whereas the State Government itself has ended the interview system. Apart from this, it has been made mandatory to have 5 years of experience for recruitment of computer teachers, which is not logical.
Recruitment process for 1191 posts of PGT IP has started in the Directorate of higher education from September 11. During the last five days, 1757 applicants from different districts have registered for these posts.
From September 14, interviews have started for these posts. More than 500 applicants have been interviewed in two days. Now the registration and the interview process will be stopped till further orders.
